Back to School Teacher Survival Kit

It's back to school for my kiddos! I love and appreciate teachers and their dedication to spending all day with our kids teaching them and helping shape them into the great little learners that they are. I decided to make a Survival Kit for my 3rd grader's teacher, and for my 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son's preschool teachers. I assembled 3 kits and they turned out great!

I used a Sterilite clear utility tote and filled it with a bunch of goodies:

Highlighters
Pencils
Pens
Advil
Paper Clips
5 Hour Energy Shots
Pack of M&M's
BandAids
Ice Breaker Breath Mints
Purell Hand Sanitizer
Correction Tape
Glue Sticks
Small Candle
and I dumped a bunch of Hershey Kisses in!

I found this adorable poem online that reads:

TEACHER
T is for talented that you surely are
E is for explaining so patiently
A is for the ability to make learning fun
C is for correcting us when we are wrong
H is for helping us in every way
E is for encouraging us to do our best
R is for rare; there is only one of you!
So thank you special teacher; we thing you're great too!

I added the last two lines:

Here's a Survival Kit to help you through each day,
And to thank you for helping me shine in my own way!

I adorned it with a cute apple stamp and quote "We appreciate you."

I also made a little "Teacher" quote that I adhered onto the front of a clear photo frame/stand and put inside the kit.

Hope you have a great school year! Tell those teachers how awesome they are!

Hugs & Happy Crafting
